Mindset Engagement High Performance
Mindset Engagement High Performance – Mindset and engagement are fundamental for high performance
Deborah will be talking about employee engagement and the impact employee motivation, wellbeing and involvement has on business performance. She will draw on her practical experience and highlight the importance of mindset and behaviour in the workplace. In business today even stability is a form of slow moving change whilst complexity and uncertainty can’t be managed effectively if only calling on traditional performance driven mindsets. Facts, figures and best practice are no longer enough and there is now a requirement within our organisations for expert meaning makers, skills to foster collective attention towards adaptive challenges and the ability and insight to stimulate bottom-up, locally responsive solutions.
This demands knowledge and learning to enhance and expand traditional leadership thinking beyond the familiar performance mindset. A broader understanding of motivations and behaviour added to deeper learning around cognitive strengths/weaknesses enables us to better manage anxiety and emotion. As such, we are better placed to hold ambiguity and uncertainty in ways that encourage people to manage discomfort long enough for innovation to flow, even during the most challenging times.
